Andrew Surdykowski is general counsel for the Intercontinental Exchange. He was named to the position in September 2018 and is responsible for a range of legal matters for the company. He is expected to formally take the new post in early 2019.
Before taking the top legal post at ICE, he served as ICE's senior vice president and associate general counsel from 2005. He succeeds Jonathan Short, who will retire after 14 years in the position at ICE.
Prior to joining ICE, Surdykowski served as an attorney with McKenna, Long & Aldridge, now Dentons, in the corporate law group focused on securities, mergers and acquisitions, governance, finance and private equity.
Surdykowski holds a J.D. from the Georgia State University College of Law and a B.S. in Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
