Chris LaRosa was named director, associations relations at CME Group on August 28, 2008.
LaRosa is responsible for CME's global association strategy and aligning its professional and industry associations with CME corporate initiatives with a goal of delivery value to customers.
Prior to joining CME Group, LaRosa, spent more than 10 years in stakeholder relations and the public sector in consulting and other roles. He most recently served as principal and practice leader with SRA International in Arlington, Va., where he led business development initiatives and provided consulting services in the areas of energy and environmental policy, including emerging carbon regulatory programs and markets.
He also worked for the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development and Office of Economic Development at James Madison University.
LaRosa earned a bachelor's degree in political science from Allegheny College, a master's degree in public administration from James Madison University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
