|Occupation||Head of Investment Banking|
|Employer||Bank of America Corp.|
Christian Meissner is the sole head of the investment banking division at Bank of America Corp. His appointment, in late January 2012, disrupted the former organization of the division at B of A. Co-chief operating officer Thomas Montag hired Meissner from Nomura Holdings Inc. in 2010, and in April 2011 named him one of three co-heads of the combined corporate and investment banking units.
Prior to his work with Nomura Holdings, Meissner was the co-CEO of Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at Lehman Brothers from 2004 to 2008. He was a partner and managing director at Goldman Sachs for a decade before that.
