Gil Mandelzis is CEO and founder of Capitolis, a New York-based technology provider for global capital markets.[1]

He was named non-executive director of Euronext US Inc., starting in March 2018.

He was also the CEO of electronic currency broker EBS BrokerTec Markets starting in March of 2012, and stepped down in July of 2016.[2]

Mandelzis co-founded Traiana in 2000 and became its CEO and later its executive chairman after the acquisition by ICAP in 2007. In 2009 he was appointed to ICAP's global executive management group.[3] His role at Traiana was to consolidate the company's position as the market standard for post-trade processing for foreign exchange transactions, while expanding its offering in other over-the-counter (OTC) markets.[4] Traiana went on to become one of the world’s largest processors of over-the-counter trade data.[5]

On May 21, 2012 Andy Coyne was appointed as chief executive officer of Traiana, a position previously held by Mandelzis. Mandelzis remained at the company and took over the newly created position of executive chairman.[6] He resigned from the Traiana board in September 2015.

Before founding Traiana, he worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Deutsche Bank Alex Brown (formerly BT Wolfensohn) in New York, where he advised companies in the financial and technology sectors.[7][8]

He was appointed to the New York Federal Reserve’s Foreign Exchange Committee in 2012.[9]

Mandelzis holds an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleu, France.
