Jeff Pollack is chief financial officer for the Americas for Newedge, overseeing the firm's finances in the U.S. and Canada. He was named to the position on Apr. 11, 2012. He is based in the firm's New York office, but frequently travels to Chicago.
Pollack is responsible for working with Newedge executives to deliver financial support and solutions ranging from capital and funding strategy, to management information and reporting, to actively managing the financial risk profile of the firm.
Prior to joining Newedge, Pollack provided management consulting from April 2011 to April 2012. Before that, he was at Mizuho Securities USA, Inc., serving as CFO and chief operating officer for the company from January 2011 to March 2011.
Prior to Mizuho, Pollack held senior finance leadership positions for firms that include Prebon Yamane (USA) Inc. from 1999 to 2000, Caspian Securities Inc. from 1994 to 1998, Baring Securities from 1992 to 1994 and Fidelity Investments. He also served as CFO at TrueMarkets, a start-up mortgage trading platform, from April 2000 to December 2011.
Pollack received his bachelor's degree in Economics from Rutgers University, where he attended from 1982 to 1986.
