Jesse Marie Bartz is chief of staff and assistant corporate secretary of the Minneapolis Grain Exchange (MGEX).[1]

As chief of staff, Bartz oversees a majority of the current projects being executed at the exchange including special projects with the president. She also directs the membership department and acts as a liaison between the board, president and members.

As assistant corporate secretary, her primary responsibilities include documenting and maintaining official records and minutes of the exchange.

Background

She started at MGEX in 1996. She has held positions in membership, statistics, real estate, Audits & Investigations, research, and marketing at the exchange. She became the assistant corporate secretary May 11, 2000 and became chief of staff July 1, 2005.

Along with her position at the exchange, Bartz serves on the board of directors for the Hennepin History Museum, serving as vice president from August of 2008 to February of 2010.

Education

She graduated with a BA from the University of Minnesota at Morris in 1995 with a double major in Political Science and Anthropology.
