John D. Markese
Markese served as a governor of the NASD from 1998 to 2002. He currently serves on the board of directors of the Nasdaq Stock Market, Inc. and is chairman of the Nasdaq Audit Committee. He presents seminars and writes columns on stock analysis, portfolio management, mutual funds and other financial topics.
Markese's remarks have appeared in Money, Forbes, Business Week, Time, Barron's, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and other publications and Web sites. Markese also has appeared on numerous national television programs.
Markese earned a doctorate in Finance, with a concentration in financial markets and investments, from the Univeristy of Illinois.
