Jonathan Hitchon is the co-head of Deutsche Bank's Global Prime Finance business, a position he has been in since 2005.[1] His responsibilities include prime brokerage, synthetic finance, structure equity finance, hedge fund consulting and securities lending. Hitchon was also elected to the board of directors of The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation in May 2011.[2]

Background

Hitchon joined Deutsche Bank in 1998 when the bank acquired Equity Derivatives from National Westminster Bank (NatWest). Prior to the acquisition, Hitchon held various positions at NatWest including chief financial officer for Equities NA. Hitchon also served as chief operating officer and chief administrative officer for Deutsche Bank's equities business.[3]

Education

Hitchon graduated from Sheffield University in the United Kingdom with a bachelor's of science degree in chemical engineering and fuel technology.
