Kurt Kinker is the chief market analyst at Mirus Futures in Chicago.[1] He is also an associated person of Bigwells Technology, LLC.


Kinker began his career in trading on the floor of the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) as a market maker for Timber Hill.

After several years developing his options trading methodologies, he moved his focus to the futures markets and traded firm capital as a part of JHKW Investments, a member firm of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME).

In 2004, he joined Mirus in the firm's risk management department.

He often provides futures and FX commentary in a wide variety of products including equity indices (S&P, Dow, and NASDAQ), interest rates (Treasury notes and bonds), Currencies, gold and silver, oil (West Texas and Brent Crude).[2]


He maintains his Series 3 and is an alumnus of Ohio State University with a BS in Agriculture Business Management.
