Matthew Ardizzone is global head of FX sales at R.J. O'Brien. He was appointed to that position in September of 2013. A 20-year veteran of the foreign exchange industry, Ardizzone is responsible for expanding the firm's institutional FX business, particularly among commodity trading advisors, hedge funds and FX portfolio managers.
He reports to Phillip Fondren, executive director and head of FX.
Ardizzone was most recently executive director of FX Sales Nomura Securities in New York. He previously was global head of FX Sales at Jefferies Bache (formerly Prudential Bache). Before joining Prudential in 2005, he was the founder and CEO of Aurora Capital Management Ltd. Bermuda.
Ardizzone is from Australia, where he earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree in economics and finance from the University of Western Sydney.
