Matthew Scharpf is a Chicago-based business development professional, musician, former trader and former software salesman in the derivatives industry. He is currently a vice president of business development at Eurex for fixed income and agricultural futures.
Scharpf is a former professional musician and high school math teacher. He taught at Fenwick High School for five years where he was also the varsity soccer head coach.
He was also a fixed income, energy, and ags trader, market maker in eurodollar packs and bundles, and trainer with the Traditum Group from 2004 to 2011.
From 2011 through 2013, Scharpf was an account executive with CQG in Chicago.
He joined Eurex in November of 2013.
Scharpf holds a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Dayton in Mechanical Engineering.
