Background

Overstreet-Miller was previously the top communications executive in North America for Zurich Insurance Co., where she was responsible for media and public relations, employee communications and engagement, and corporate positioning. Before that, she served as senior director, chief communications and marketing officer for The McCormick Foundation.

Earlier, she established her own consulting business and held senior communications positions at Career Education Corporation, Dade Behring Inc. (now part of Siemens Healthcare), and Allstate Insurance Co.

Education

Overstreet-Miller received an MBA in finance and marketing from the University of Illinois, Chicago, and a Master's degree in English from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. She also earned a bachelor's degree in English from Centenary College, Shreveport, Louisiana.
