LinkedIn Profile

Ron Yermack is a Chicago-based financial services professional. He is a principal of Global FX Connections.

Yermck is a longtime member of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, having joined the exchange in 1975. He is registered with the National Futures Association as a floor trader.[1][2]

In 2014, Yermack and fellow exchange members Sheldon Langer and Lance Goldberg sued the CME Group claiming the value of their memberships, or B shares, were negatively impacted by operational changes at the CME's exchanges. The complaint centers around charges for access to the Globex matching engine and the CME's marketing of access to Globex, which has bypassed the B shareholders' ability to lease their access rights.[3] [4][5][6][7]
