The Stock Exchange of Antwerp

The Stock Exchange of Antwerp was the first known stock exchange. It was built in 1531 in Antwerp, Belgium. The building was the first of it's kind designed as a stock and trade exchange. The stock exchange was established under the rule of Philip the Good and traded mostly bonds.[1]
