Tim Lankford is a Chicago-based financial services professional. He is currently a graduate student at Loyola University in Chicago.
Previously, he was the principal and co-Founder of Bloodhound Capital, LLC (BCAP) and served as chief executive officer for the firm. Bloodhoud shut down in 2013.
Lankford is studying in a masters program at Loyola University with the goal of becoming a chaplain. He has served as a hospice volunteer for many years.
Prior to co-founding Bloodhound Capital, LLC, Lankford served as chief operating officer and executive vice president of Countrywide’s CSC Futures and was responsible for day-to-day management of the firm. Previously, his titles included president and CEO of Bankers Trust Futures and president of Sustainable Asset Management USA. He also previously held positions with Lehman Brothers Kuhn Loeb, Cargill Investor Services and Continental Bank.
Lankford has served on various industry and exchange boards and government advisory committees including: CME Board Director, FIA Board Birector, CFTC Global Markets Advisory Committee, Chicago Federal Reserve Working Group, and Arbitrator for the NFA, CME, and CBOT. He currently is a member of the CME Business Conduct, NFA Hearing and FCM Advisory Committees. Lankford is a former CBOE, CBOT, CME, LIFFE and SIMEX member.
Lankford received a bachelor of science degree in agriculture from the University of Missouri.
