George Sladoje is a consultant, exchange executive and financial services professional.

He has worked with Nasdaq, the Chicago Stock Exchange and the Chicago Board of Trade.[1]

He served as the chief operating officer for the NASDAQ OMX Commodities Clearing Company after it acquired a firm he founded, North American Energy Credit and Clearing.[2]

Background

Prior to the NOCC, Sladoje's most recent position was as president and chief executive officer of the California Power Exchange where he directed the start-up of this first of its kind enterprise.[3]

Before that, Sladoje had formerly held positions as executive vice-president and chief financial officer of the Chicago Stock Exchange and its clearing and trust subsidiaries. He was also executive vice-president of the Chicago Board of Trade where he directed the exchange's operations and its financial and administrative functions.

Prior to his trading experiences, Sladoje served in various financial roles including seven years with a Big 8 public accounting firm.

Education

Sladoje earned MBA in finance from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University, and a BS Degree in business administration from the Ohio State University. He earned his certified public accountant (CPA) designation in Illinios in 1971.[4]
