Lauren Dillard is head of global information services at Nasdaq. She was named to the post in May 2019 and is responsible for growing Nasdaq's index business, expanding its information services beyond data, expanding the company's investment and analytics business as well as its alternative data firm Quandl. She is also responsible for increasing market access with new and expanded data relationships with brokers in the US, Asia and elsewhere.
Before joining Nasdaq, Dillard served as head of investment solutions at The Carlyle Group where she managed more than $40 billion in assets and 200 staff across six countries. She is credited with tripling Carlyle's investment solutions revenues during her three years in the role. She was a managing director at Carlyle and served that firm for 17 years, from 2002 to 2019.
She also served as a member of Carlyle's management committee and previously served as Carlyle's COO and CFO of the investment solutions division. She also led its tax and equity units.
Prior to joining Carlyle, she worked in the tax practice of Arthur Anderson.
Dillard earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of Richmond.
