Adam Cox is a veteran journalist and senior lecturer at University of Roehampton in the United Kingdom.

Formerly, he was the editor-in-chief of Automated Trader Magazine, a magazine devoted to the algorithmic trading community.

He also is the founder and director of Quayside Editorial, a company providing specialist editorial services.[1][2][3]

Background[edit]

Cox spent 20 years at Thomson Reuters and its predecessors, leaving the company in March of 2012 as senior editor, manager and trainer. His main area of coverage included the financial markets, but he also cover politics, economics and sports. He served at Thomson Reuters as editor of Northern and Central Europe from 2008 to 2011. He served as the chief correspondent in Sweden in 2007 and 2008. Additionally, he served as Asia economic editor from 2003 to 2007.

He also served as a copy editor for Bloomberg in the 1990s.

Education[edit]

Cox holds a bachelor of arts with honors and a masters of arts from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. He participated in an international exchange program at the University of Ken and studied English literature and the classics.
