Albert H. Brinkman
Albert H. Brinkman is a veteran exchange executive. He is a principal with Brinkman Group, LLC. Previously, he was a senior vice president of marketing for Miami International Holdings, Inc.[1] Background[edit]He was also previously a director of equity derivatives marketing for the Philadelphia Stock Exchange (PHLX), responsible for equity, sector index and currency option marketing and educational services to investors, brokerage firms and institutional clients in North America. Brinkman spent over 20 years as a member of the PHLX, as both a equity specialist and options floor broker. He also serves as a staff instructor for the Options Industry Council (OIC) and sits on its educational committee.[2] Education[edit]Brinkman received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas Christian University, and is a graduate of the Securities Industry Association (SIA) Securities Industry Institute at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a NASD Series 7 and Series 4 Registered Representative. Brinkman served over 30 years in the United States Army Reserve as an infantry and civil affairs officer retiring with the rank of Colonel. Resources[edit]
