Andy Nybo is Miami International Holdings' chief communications officer, a position he assumed in March 2021. Previously, he was a derivatives executive and head of the exchange and transaction venue research division of Burton-Taylor International Consulting, which was acquired by TP ICAP at the end of 2016. [1][2]

He also had been a partner and global co-head of research and consulting at TABB Group, along with Anthony J. Perrotta, Jr. Nybo directed all aspects of TABB’s research activities including equities, listed derivatives, fixed income and technology. He was promoted to that position from principal in August of 2015.[3] He joined TABB in August 2006. He also was a lead consultant for derivatives-related consulting assignments and provided counsel to clients on the use of technology on derivatives trading desks. [4][5]

While at TABB, he also served on its executive management committee.

Background[edit]

Nybo has more than 25 years of experience in the global capital markets. His published research includes: “Exchange-Traded Equity Derivatives: The Buy-Side's Increasing Exposure”; “Cross-Asset Trading Systems: Controlling the Trader's Desktop”; and “Global Exchanges and Depository Receipts: Can They Coexist?” [6]

Before coming to TABB Group, Nybo was head of marketing and communications at MarketAxess. Prior to that, he was senior analyst at Tower Group and before that vice president, research at the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA).

He is a current board member of the Carolina Securities Traders Association.
