Barton Biggs was a famed money manager who was said to have called the technology bubble of the late 1990s and the deep recession that followed it. He died in 2012.[1]
Background[edit]
In 1973, Barton joined Morgan Stanley as a partner.[2] Biggs established Morgan Stanley's research department, and founded Morgan Stanley Investment Management in 1975.[3]

Biggs graduated from Yale University in 1955.
