Charles A. Jeannes is the president and chief executive officer of Goldcorp Inc. He was appointed to the position in January of 2009.[1]
Previously, he held the role of executive vice-president of corporate development for the company from November of 2006 until December of 2008.[2]
Background[edit]
From 1999 until Goldcorp completed the acquisition of Glamis, Jeannes was executive vice-president of administration, general counsel, and the secretary of Glamis.
Prior to joining Glamis, Jeannes worked for Placer Dome, most recently as vice-president of Placer Dome North America.
Education[edit]
Jeannes holds a B.A. degree from the University of Nevada and graduated from the University of Arizona School of Law with honors in 1983.
