Chris Isaacson
Chris Isaacson is executive vice president and chief operating officer at Cboe Global Markets. He was named to the post in January 2019, replacing president and COO Chris Concannon. Isaacson is a former member of the board of directors of the OCC.[1][2] Isaacson was chief information officer at the Chicago Board Options Exchange. He took on that role after having been CIO at Bats Global Markets, which CBOE acquired on February 28, 2017.[3] [4] Earlier, Isaacson was senior vice president and chief operating officer at Bats. He was promoted to that position in July 2007.[5] Background[edit]Isaacson previously served BATS as vice president in charge of operations, a position he had held since 2006. Before that he managed the trade desk at BATS and, as a developer, was instrumental in the architecture and implementation of the BATS trading platform.[6] Isaacson started as a software engineer at Cerner Corp., the publicly traded, Kansas City-based health care information systems supplier. He was a software developer at Tradebot Systems from 2003 to 2005. Education[edit]Isaacson holds a bachelor's degree in computer science and business from Nebraska Wesleyan University, Lincoln, Neb., and was a two-time Academic All-American while competing in the decathlon. He also earned a master's degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska. References[edit]
