CoinRoutes provides aggregated price information from 40 cryptocurrency exchanges, including the exchange rate for pairs of hundreds of different digital assets. The platform is designed to improve the efficiency of executing trades across numerous exchanges.[1]

CoinRoutes does not offer custodial "hot" wallets - its customers retain total control over the private keys of their digital assets.[2]

In February 2019, the electronic trading platform Vela announced a partnership with CoinRoutes, in order to use CoinRoutes' crypto market data for Vela's smart order routing (SOR) services. According to the announcement, this will allow Vela's customers to trade crypto assets based on data aggregated from hundreds of trading pairs across 40 exchanges using the trading tools on Vela's platform.[3]

In December 2020, CoinRoutes and Cboe announced that they had entered an exclusive licensing agreement. This enabled Cboe to use CoinRoute's RealPrice data to create digital asset indices and similar products and services for their customers.[4]

  • RealPrice displays the investable price for bitcoin and Ethereum as well as other cryptocurrencies in real time.
  • Consolidated Best Bid & Offer (CBBO) is a pan-exchange research tool
