Crain's Chicago Business is a local business news publication published and posted online by Crain Communications Inc., the publisher of over 25 special interest publications.[1]
ChicagoBusiness.com is a portal that offers daily local business news, plus links to public records and hundreds of local and national business-oriented sites.[2]
In May of 2009, it was announced that Crain's Chicago Business magazine's annual Market Facts section had won a Best Online Project award from the Society of American Business Editors and Writers (SABEW).[3]

Crain’s Chicago Business was launched in 1978.
Although Crain’s Chicago Business was published weekly for 31 years, in June of 2009, Crain Communications announced it planned to not put out print editions during five weeks in the second half of this 2009 in response to the economic downturn.[4]
