Dave Oxner is managing director of federal government affairs at SIFMA. Oxner is responsible for federal government relations in SIFMA’s office in Washington, D.C. Oxner joined SIFMA from the office of Senator Jerry Moran (R-Kansas) where he served as policy advisor.[1]
Background[edit]
In his position with the U.S. Senate, Oxner provided counsel to Senator Moran in his capacity as an active member of the Banking Committee and as the top Republican on the Financial Services Appropriations Subcommittee, which funds the Treasury Department, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
Education[edit]
He attended Davidson College from 1998 to 2002 and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the institution.[2]
