Dr. Nai-Kuan Huang has been the senior Executive Vice President of the Taiwan Futures Exchange (TAIFEX) since he joined the Exchange in February 2010. He oversees business development and system-related operations at the Exchange.
Background[edit]
Prior to a career in the capital markets, Huang was assistant and then associate professor of electrical engineering at the University of Minnesota. He is also a former Chairman of the Taiwan Certificate Authority and has held a variety of roles at the Taiwan Stock Exchange from 1989 - 2009. [1]
He has been an adjunct professor at Tsinghua University since 1992.
Education[edit]
Dr Huang graduated from the University of Southern California with a PhD in Electrical Engineering. He completed his undergraduate and graduate degrees in mathematics from National Tsinghua University and Indiana University.
