Eric Maine
Eric Maine is financial services professional with a focus on derivatives and commodities. Most recently, he was director of business development projects at the Hong Kong Mercantile Exchange (HKMEx). He was appointed to that position on Dec. 4, 2012. He was responsible for managing new product launches from origination to market execution and delivery. He reported to HKMEx Co-President William Barkshire.[1][2] Background[edit]Before he joined HKMEx, he was head of product development and management, commodities, at Singapore Exchange. Before that, he was head of product and research at the Singapore Mercantile Exchange, and before that he held a similar position at the InterContinentalExchange (ICE). He also held several senior position in New York with investment firm Canning/Maine Inc., Allied Irish Banks and Prudential-Bache (now Jefferies Bache).
