Futures & Options for Kids [1] is a philanthropic organization whose mission is to raise funds for children in need.

History[edit]

Formerly known as the CEC Children's Fund, Futures & Options for Kids was founded in 1980 by several members of the New York Commodity Exchanges. In its inaugural year, the fund assisted three local children's charities.

Since then, the organization has contributed $12 million to hundreds of agencies that directly help meet the needs of children in the areas of healthcare, education and welfare.

Through the efforts of its Board of Directors and volunteers, Futures & Options for Kids has played a role in promoting philanthropy throughout the futures industry by sponsoring various fund raising events and promoting volunteerism among exchange membership, staff and members.
