Harrison Trading Group was a proprietary trading firm based in Chicago. It specialized in spread trading strategies in a variety of markets and products including equities, futures, options, currencies and cash bonds.[1]

On June 26, 2009, it completed a previously announced merger with GH Traders to create a new entity titled HTG Capital Partners, LLC.[2]

The firm originally announced the merger in February 2009.

The merged entity employs about 100 traders.

Harrison Trading, now HTG Capital Partners, LLC, was founded by Kenneth Alpart in 1995 as Alpart Trading, and was renamed Harrison Trading Group, LLC in 2003.

Harrison Trading Group possessed operations in virtually all exchange-traded and OTC financial instruments. HTG Capital Partners, LLC focuses on trading technology, speed, connectivity and proprietary trading strategies across multiple asset classes.
