James Proudlock is managing director of AMT Futures Limited. He was appointed to that role effective in June of 2020.

Proudlock was previously deputy chief executive for LME Clear starting April 2017, reporting to the chief executive, Adrian Farnham. He was also a member of the LME Clear Executive Committee.[1] He was appointed to that role in December of 2016.

Proudlock and Matthew Chamberlain, LME's COO, were co-heads of the business development function across LME Clear and the London Metal Exchange.

Background[edit]

Before joining LME Clear, Proudlock worked at JP Morgan Securities for 10 years where he was a managing director and commodity product lead for futures and options and more recently markets execution. He previously held various senior global positions in London, Hong Kong, Singapore and New Zealand and has 30 years’ experience in commodities.

Education[edit]

He attended the University of London, where he studied Chinese and Economics.
