James Ginsburg is managing director at Vernon & Park Capital L.P. (VPC), an Illinois-based private equity firm that focuses exclusively on long-term investments in the exchange and financial market sector.[1]

Prior to his fund management activities, he was a trader at Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME, now CME Group) for more than 20 years. He is or has been a member/shareholder of the CME, the Chicago Board of Trade, the New York Stock Exchange, the Pacific Exchange, the Philadelphia Stock Exchange, the New York Mercantile Exchange and the New York Board of Trade.[2]
As of 2007-2008, Ginsburg was serving as a public director of the Minneapolis Grain Exchange (MGEX).[3]
