Joanne Rose is the executive managing director of risk and quality policy at Standard & Poor's Corp. As part of her work with the firm she has dealt with mortgage securities and other structured finance deals, which were the target of U.S. regulatory probes.[1][2]
In December 2011, Rose announced she would be leaving the company in January 2012.[3][4]

Rose was the head of the S&P mortgage securities ratings team from 1999 to 2008, but was reassigned in January 2008 to her position as executive managing director for risk and quality policy.[5][6]
Before this period, Rose was general counsel for Standard & Poor's Ratings Services.[7]
