John A. Vassallo
John A. Vassallo is president of Coquest Incorporated. He is a member of the New York Mercantile Exchange.[1] Here is a former introducing broker representative on the board of directors of National Futures Association.[2] Background[edit]Vassallo formerly served on the NFA Audit Committee. Vassallo began his career in the futures industry in 1987 as a clerk for Rafferty Associates on the floor of the NYMEX. In 1988, Vassallo joined GPR Inc. where his duties were to market the firm's technical trading program. In 1990, he was hired by Bishop Enderby Corp., a registered commodity trading advisor, where his duties included marketing, raising funds, and monitoring compliance. In 1990, Vassallo moved from New York to Dallas. While still working with Bishop Enderby, Vassallo formed Coquest Inc. with friend and co-worker Dennis Weinmann. Vassallo also established Toro Asset Management in 1994 where his expertise was leveraged to market a proprietary trading program developed by Weinmann.[3][4] Vasallo is a member of the honors circle of the National Introducing Broker Association.[5] Education[edit]Registration Information[edit]
