John Parry
John Parry is a freelance journalist and consultant based in London. Parry spent 20 years in public relations as co-founder of the London-based firm Rostron Parry Ltd. Parry was the founding editor of Futures & Options World magazine in the early 1980s as financial futures were being launched in London.[1] Background[edit]Parry co-founded Rostron Parry Ltd. in 1991 with Simon Rostron, whom he had worked with when he was the founding editor of FOW. Parry retired from Rostron Parry Ltd. in 2011 and resumed his career as a journalist. In 2011, Parry contributed to the "FOW 30 Year Anniversary: Top 30 Most Influential People of the Past 30 Years" issue.[2] Prior to being the founding editor of FOW, Parry was an editor at Metal Bulletin. He also served as the derivatives editor of International Financing Review. Parry was served as an options consultant to Hong Kong Futures & Stock Exchange and on the derivatives examination committee of the London Stock Exchange.
