Joseph Adamczyk
Joseph Adamczyk is a Chicago-based lawyer, compliance, exchange and clearinghouse executive. He joined Exchange Analytics, a provider of regulatory compliance training and support services, as its president in 2020. [1] Previously, he was a senior vice president and chief compliance officer at the OCC. His responsibilities included leading OCC's compliance program, working with OCC's regulators, advising OCC's board of directors and management team on compliance requirements and records management. Background[edit]Adamczyk joined the OCC in 2015 as first vice president and deputy general counsel, where he worked primarily on compliance and regulatory exam management. He was promoted to his current role as CCO in December 2016, replacing Richard Wallace. Prior to his regulatory work with the OCC, Adamczyk was managing director and associate general counsel at CME Group, where he led CME's legal operations and external counsel in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and Asia-Pacific regions. [2] He worked at the CME from 2007 to 2015. Before that he worked for the Chicago law firms of Jenner & Block LLP and Freeman, Freeman and Salzman, P.C. He is a member of the Futures Industry Association, Law and Compliance section; American Bar Association; Chicago Bar Association and New York State Bar Association.
