Joseph F. Burgoyne III is a Chicago-based derivatives exectutive.

Most recently, he was director, institutional and retail marketing for the Options Industry Council (OIC). He was appointed to the newly created position on March 3, 2009. In this role he supports institutional and retail educational programs promoting the responsible use of listed equity options. He represents OIC by participating in panel discussions, presenting educational seminars and working with the media. He also assists in the development of options curricula, Web content, advertising, academic studies and partnerships.

Burgoyne has 30 years of experience in the financial industry. He was most recently director of business development for IVolatility.com. Previously, he was managing director of Burgoyne Capital Management, LLC. He also led floor operations at the Philadelphia Stock Exchange for Van der Moolen Options USA.
