Joseph G. Nicholas is founder and chairman of HFR Group L.L.C. and its affiliated companies.[1]He is an author and a frequent lecturer on topics relating to alternative investments.[2]
Background[edit]
Nicholas tried to demystify hedge fund investing. When he started putting together a fund that invested in other hedge funds - a fund of funds - in 1993, he found that investors were interested in his research about typically secretive hedge fund managers and their investment performance.[3]
