Joseph Gawronski
Joe Gawronski is the CEO of Rosenblatt Securities Inc. He succeeded founder Richard Rosenblatt in that role in March 2022.[1] He joined the company in September 2002 in the role of chief operating officer.[2] He served as president and COO starting in 2007. Gawronski led a number of strategic initiatives to expand and diversify Rosenblatt, including launching the firm’s market-structure practice and building its investment-banking and equity-research departments. Background[edit]Gawronski began his career as a securities lawyer with Sullivan & Cromwell. From there, he was a vice president in the equities division with Salomon Smith Barney for nearly three years and was the COO of Linx LLC, an alternative block trading system, until September 2002. He is an Allied Member of the NYSE, a member of the NYSE Hearing Board, a member of the advisory boards of both the Journal of Trading and Wall Street & Technology magazine, and a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Gawronski has also authored or co-authored several published papers on equity market structure. He also regularly lectures on the topic.[3] Education[edit]
