Kelly Brown
Kelly Brown is a Chicago-based derivatives executive who is a co-founder and the chief commercial officer of FairX, a startup exchange. He is also the managing principal at Derivatives Advisor, LLC. Previously, he was the chief commercial officer at ErisX, a trading venue for the digital asset market. He was named to the post in October 2018.[1][2] Background[edit]He has also served as a director at the CME Group, as global head of intermediary sales.[3] In this role, Brown works as a liaison with futures commission merchants. Previously, Brown worked in hedge fund marketing at the CME Group.[4][5] Before joining the CME Group in July of 2004, Brown was vice president of futures clearing sales at Banc of America Securities. Also, from 1994 to 2003, Brown worked for Cargill Investor Services. Education[edit]Brown holds a bachelor of business administration from Loyola University of Chicago in finance.
