The Luxembourg Stock Exchange forms the centerpiece of the country's financial center, and is one of Europe's largest venues for on-exchange bond trading, as well as equities and investment funds.
The member-owned exchange has had an alliance with Euronext since 2000, using its NSC platform for cash trading, and will in 2008 shift clearing to a central counterparty model[1].
