Mark Peterson is the chief executive officer of the New Zealand Stock Exchange (NZX). He was appointed to that position in April of 2017, after having been acting CEO since January.[1] Peterson has been with NZX since 2015 as its head of markets. Background[edit]Before coming to NZX, he worked in the financial services sector, including for the ANZ Bank and the investment bank FNZC.[2] As NZX CEO, he has a a five-year contract with an option for a two-year extension and his base salary is $500,000 with annual short-term incentives of up to $500,000 and long-term incentives of as much as $250,000 a year, the New Zealand Herald reported.[3] Education[edit]References[edit] |
