Marshall Nicholson is president of ICE Bonds, the fixed income trading venue for corporate bonds, municipal bonds, treasuries, agencies and certificates of deposit at the Intercontinental Exchange. He was named to the post in February 2019, when ICE Bonds was launched.[1]

He is responsible for managing ICE Bonds, overseeing new business development and sales.

Background[edit]

Nicholson was hired by ICE in December 2018 as president of Creditex.

Prior to joining ICE, he served from 2006 to 2014 as president of Millennium Advisors, a broker dealer serving the fixed income markets and, before that, was managing director and president of BondPoint, which was part of KCG Holdings.

Before that, he was an executive vice president at ValuBond from 2002 - 2006 and an account executive at Thomson Financial from 1996 to 2000.[2]

He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina and an MBA in finance and marketing from the University of Georgia.
