Patrick J. Kenny is a derivatives industry executive and industry and political leader who serves as senior vice president of client relations for CQG.[1] He joined the firm in July 2010.[2] Previously, Kenny had been with Patsystems, North America as an officer and managing director. Kenny joined the board of advisors of OptionsCity on Feb. 22, 2010.

He is also the village president of Fontana, Wisconsin.

In January of 2018, Kenny was elected as the chairman of the Association of Futures Markets board of directors during its 21st Annual Conference organized in Bangkok.[3] In September of 2020, Kenny was re-elected for a second two-year term as chairman of the AFM.

Kenny serves as a trustee for Futures For Kids, a London-based foundation which supports children's charities around the world.[4]

Background[edit]

Kenny has worked in the financial trading sector for more than 30 years. Before joining Patsystems, he held senior positions in institutional sales with Prudential Securities and ABN Amro. Kenny also worked in institutional sales at Geldermann and Harris Bank. Kenny has been a member of the Chicago Board of Trade since 1983.

The John Lothian Newsletter reported on Oct. 20, 2009 that Kenny would leave Patsystems and that Sean Barry would replace him as head of North America for the company.[5]

Kenny was appointed to the village board of Fontana, Wisconsin in October of 2007,[6] and was re-elected in April 2010.[7] He was again re-elected in 2012.[8] In 2015, Kenny was elected village president of Fontana.[9][10]

In March of 2012, John Lothian wrote a commentary that referred to Kenny as "The Most Interesting Man in the World."[11]
