Paul Achleitner
Dr. Paul Achleitner is chairman of the supervisory board of Deutsche Bank. He has held that position since 2012. Background[edit]Achleitner was a member of the management board of Allianz SE (formerly Allianz AG) from 2000 – 2012. Earlier he was a managing partners at Goldman Sachs in Frankfurt from 1994 - 1999. From 1989 - 1994 he was executive director of investment banking at Goldman in London, having earlier been VP of mergers & acquisitions at the company in New York.[1] He started his career in 1984 as a manager of strategy consulting at Bain & Co. in Boston. Education[edit]Achleitner received earned a First degree in Business Administration, Economics, Law and Social Sciences at the University of St. Gallen and a Doctorate degree from the same University.
