Random Walk Computing Inc. is a technology consulting firm that was acquired by Accenture on July 20, 2006. It specializes in trading system applications, risk management systems and other technologies for banks, asset managers, exchanges and other financial services institutions.

Random Walk founders Joel Scotkin and Jim Lowe joined Accenture’s Financial Services operating group, as did all key members of Random Walk’s leadership team and technology workforce. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.[1]
