Rod Banus is executive director at Nomura International Plc. He previously held senior positions at Dubai Mercantile Exchange (DME), the Singapore Exchange (SGX) and Barclays Capital. He is also a non-executive director of NLX.[1]

Banus joined the Dubai Mercantile Exchange in March of 2012. [2]
He began his career in a London sales role at BarCap in 1994 and moved to Singapore a decade later, where he became the bank’s head of listed products and prime services. He left the bank in February 2010 and later joined Singapore Exchange as a senior adviser to its commodities trading division, where he was responsible for building relationships with stakeholders and regulators.
