Roger J. Engemoen, Jr.

Roger J. Engemoen, Jr. has spent a large part of his career as a financial industry executive. He has more than 25 years experience in the securities industry in both the banking and brokerage sectors.


Engemoen was previously chairman of Penson Worldwide, Inc., and an officer or director of most of the Penson companies.[1] Penson Worldwide, Inc. reported in its Form 8-K that on July 16, 2012, Engemoen tendered his resignation as chairman of the board and as a member of the board of directors of the company and all of its affiliates, which was accepted.[2]

Engemoen was the founder of Service Asset Management Company, a predecessor company to Penson Financial Services, Inc., and the chairman of SAMCO Capital Markets, Inc., SAMCO Holdings, Inc. and SAMCO Financial Advisors, Inc.


He holds a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Business Administration from Southern Methodist University.
