Scott P. Hess Website www.cfbta.org Scott P. Hess is an independent floor broker registered with the NYMEX. Hess currently serves as treasurer of the Commodity Floor Brokers and Traders Association. Background A former CFBTA director, Hess has more than 25 years of trading experience. He served on the NYMEX Board of Directors from 1997 to 2006 and was a member of the Dubai Mercantile Exchange Board from 2005 to 2006. Hess also has served on the COMEX Governors Committee and as chairman or vice chairman of several NYMEX committees. He was actively involved in a number of NYMEX initiatives, including the launch of the DME, the development of the NYMEX electricity and coal contracts and the rollout of the Trade Management System.
