Stephanie Hammer is an independent marketing consultant specializing in the derivatives markets. Her projects include creating comprehensive marketing plans, developing educational programs that target professional traders and writing articles, white papers and brochures on industry topics such as CDS markets, trading strategies and technology.

She is currently a senior writer at Technology Business Management Council.

She is the author of the book Architects of Electronic Trading: Technology Leaders Who Are Shaping Today's Financial Markets (Wiley Trading).[1]

Background[edit]

Hammer has more than 10 years of experience in derivatives marketing. In addition, she traded European and U.S. fixed income futures for the International Trading Group, a Chicago-based proprietary trading firm. She also served as Head of Communications for Eurex in Frankfurt, Germany.

Hammer is a member of the Women In Listed Derivatives' Steering Committee. [2]

Hammer holds a bachelors degree in Spanish literature from Bryn Mawr College and a masters degree in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She is fluent in both Spanish and German.
